About Oakley Training & Consultancy

Founded in Basingstoke in 2007, Oakley Training & Consultancy was established after many years of experience in the learning and development sector. During this time, we noticed a growing problem — too many people were being trained “out of a book” by instructors without real-world experience.

We saw this every day, and research confirmed our concerns: tick-box training may lead to certification, but it doesn’t always prepare people to handle real problems when they arise. In some cases, that lack of practical understanding can even put lives at risk.

We set out to change that.
