This one day Certificate in the Building Regulations for Electrical Installations in Dwellings C&G 2393-10 provides the information covering the parts of the Building Regulations that are most relevant to electrical installations in dwellings and domestic properties.
Aimed at anyone involved in electrical installations in dwellings, this course will enable those involved, within the domestic environment, to gain an understanding of the requirements that apply to building work they carry out in connection with their electrical work. In addition they will also gain an appreciation of the way Building Control works, the procedures which need to be followed and develop an understanding of the need for the mainstream work of domestic electrical installers to be subject to the requirements and procedures associated with Building Control.
Whilst there are no formal entry requirements for the course, we do recommend that participants who wish to attend this course consider undertaking a 17th edition qualification, either the full qualification C&G 2382-10 or the update C&G 2382-20.
On completion of this course participants will have gained:
*Candidates need to bring copies of the IEE Electricians Guide to the Building Regulations (17th Edition updated version) and the NIC/ECA Electrical Installers Guide to the Building Regulations, with them.
Experienced Electricians, Tradesmen with working experience and knowledge of electrical systems and installations and Electrical Installers with C&G 2382. Anyone who is involved in carrying out domestic electrical installations in England and Wales.
