Weekend Inspection and Testing C&G 2391-52

Course Details

This weekend C&G 2391-52 Insp and test course is aimed at practicing electricians who wish to gain qualifications in periodic inspection and testing as well as initial verification of new systems it gives you the confidence to competently carry out Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection and Testing.

This C&G 2391-52 course will cover the specific methods of inspecting and testing all types of installations, combing a mix of both theory and practical sessions covering single and three-phase installations, to the current requirements of BS 7671. It covers the inspection and testing techniques as given in IET Guidance Note 3 and how to professionally complete Certification and Reports.

It is expected that suitable candidates have a basic knowledge and understanding of electrical science and principles and experience of electrical installation work.

We want to reassure you that the health and well-being of our delegates is our highest priority. We have therefore restricted the number of delegates to 4 attending our courses in order to implement social distancing. We ask our delegates to wear masks on arrival and exit.

On arrival non-invasive temperature checks will be carried out. Hand washing facilities are  readily available and the regular use of sanitising gels and wipes is actively encouraged. All areas will be cleaned and sanitised as well as any equipment we provide.

Delegates need to bring copies of the Requirements for Electrical Installations, IET Wiring Regulations Eighteenth Edition BS7671:2018 2nd amendment, IET Guidance Note 3 and IET On-Site Guide books

To make this course as realistic as possible we recommend you bring your own test equipment and in-date calibration certificate (test equipment can be provided if required with prior agreement)

Whilst this course is 6 days the final day may involve delegates attending the City and Guilds practical assessment either in the morning or the afternoon.
