On completion of this course delegates will
Operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently
Conduct essential pre-use inspections
Understand stability principles and load handling
Move, stack, and de-stack loads correctly
Recognise workplace hazards and avoid common causes of accidents
Follow legal responsibilities and best practice guidelines

Forklift truck components, controls, and safety features
Understanding truck stability, load centres, and rated capacity
Pre-use inspections and defect reporting
Safe manoeuvring, lifting, lowering, and transporting loads
Stacking and de-stacking in racking and free-standing scenarios
Operating in confined spaces and different workplace environments
Refuelling/recharging procedures
Practical assessment of operating skills
Written and/or verbal knowledge assessment
