During these difficult times we all know that we need to pull together and obey the Government and PHE advice so that we get through this pandemic and help prevent any subsequent outbreaks. The safety and wellbeing of our client’s, delegates and staff are paramount. Having carried out a rigorous risk assessment we have taken the following steps to provide an environment in which everyone using our company can feel safe.
- It is recognised that a raised temperature, persistent cough, loss of taste and smell are potential signs of COVID-19, therefore delegates are asked to exclude themselves, for everyone’s safety if they are suffering from any of the above.
- Non-invasive temperature checks have been introduced at the start of the day/course.
- Maintaining recognised social distancing as much as possible by reducing the number of people attending our courses as well as changing the course content to consider the heightened risk. Where this is not possible, seat positioning will be changed to minimise the risk. Using screens between delegates to reduce the risk of airborne particles. We have face masks available, particularly on our First Aid training for exercises that require closer contact. If delegates are not happy, as they arrive, they will be able to exclude themselves from the course at no cost.
- A strict and thorough cleaning regime will be observed daily with all surfaces and equipment being regularly sanitised.
- Signage is displayed actively encouraging good hand hygiene.
- The provision of hand sanitiser within the training areas.
- A requirement for delegates to use clean cups/glasses for every drink.
Stay safe and together we will get through this.
