It is well documented that survivability rates for cardiac arrests are extremely low. The biggest factor is due to delays in providing appropriate medical care for a Cardiac Arrest victim. This practical Adult Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course is aimed to give the ‘lay’ person confidence and knowledge to carry out CPR on adults.
Following up-to-date European Resuscitation Council guidelines (ERC 2015) the course will be delivered by Paramedics or advanced skills trainers who are experienced in pre-hospital emergency care. This enables them to give you the benefit of their experience from a practical perspective during a difficult and testing time and ultimately deliver the best possible care to a Cardiac Arrest victim in the community.
On completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Any person who would like to improve potential survivability of a neighbour, friend or relative, who suffers a Cardiac Arrest.
